Target coat, vintage dress, hat & gloves, Kitten D'Amour pocket watch, thrifted shoes, Forever New belt,“There must have been moments even that afternoon when Daisy tumbled short of his dreams -- not through her own fault, but because of the colossal vitality of his illusion. It had gone beyond her, beyond everything. He had thrown himself into it with a creative passion, adding to it all the time, decking it out with every bright feather that drifted his way. No amount of fire or freshness can challenge what a man will store up in his ghostly heart.”
― F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby
This outfit is very vintage-inspired, as your probably would've noticed. As well as experimenting with a little bit of new editing, I decided to wear my Grandma's gloves because a) the weather today was really cold and b) they are absolutely gorgeous and add the perfect vintage touch to any outfit. Anyway, this was just a quick update to let you all know that I'm still alive! My second exam block for senior has come 'round and swallowed me whole. I won't be blogging again until next Friday *cries* so I shall see you all again soon!
I have lots of exciting things planned for Avenue M whilst I'm on holidays (only a few days away now!), so stay tuned xo
