january inspiration + a package from bea

The Cherry Blossom Girl's outfits are so effortless and polished. The vibrant Parisian backgrounds add to the beauty of her style and photography.

The Spring/ Summer collection of Chanel is just beautiful. I love the feminine, pastel colours and the intricate details and embellishments. A few of the accessories are also quite marine inspired. Some of the bag shapes resemble shells and have mermaid patterns on them.
Pretty blooms. Another one of my New Years resolutions is to start a little rose garden in the from part of my house. I also want to grow some pansies and daisies.

I still can't believe how quickly 2012 has come. Before I know it, I'll be graduating from school and pursuing my dreams (okay, maybe I'm getting a little ahead of myself). It's all pretty exciting though! Anyway, here is another set of inspiration to kick start the new year. I could talk for ages about how much I love all the things I put into this post... especially the Chanel collection. I'm usually not an admirer of Karl Lagerfield's designs but this one was different. Probably because it consisted of ruffles and other pretty textures all adorned in beautiful sorbet/ pastel hues.

In some other news, my pretty giveaway package arrived from Bea on Tuesday! I was so excited I forgot to take a picture of the actual parcel (woops) but I did get a few snaps of the lovely packaging she wrapped it in and of course, the goodies! Bea was so sweet with it and even sent me a gorgeous handmade bird ornament in my favourite fabric -- floral! Thank you so much, I love it! ♥♥

What a lovely, girly post! I'm always admiring those dumplinh dynasty sets.

Oh you're finishing school this year too? I am too! It's such a scary yet exciting thought isn't it? I just want to cherish every day of this year
