I've been busily collecting DIY room ideas more than usual lately as we are moving house in mid-December. I'm very happy and excited as we are moving to a much bigger space to accommodate my large (and frequently visiting) family. My room will also be a bit bigger too so I'l have room for a new bed and a white rolling clothes rack (something I've been wanting for a while now).
These are a few collages of images I've found inspiring. I love the idea of storing toiletries and makeup on tiered plates. I think it would also look very lovely if had a pretty basket next to the clothes rack full of teen vogue, wrapping paper and artificial flowers (just like the picture above).
This is a great way to recycle old tea cups from the op-shop or from the china cabinet and give them a new life and usage. I'd love to be able to store my jewellery this way. It's not too girlie and not too edgy -- the perfect balance! The tutorial for this project can be found on Emily's beautiful blog, Yesterday's Sweetheart.
How have you guys made your room unique? Have you got any cool ideas to share? I'd love to hear them! ♥

These are such gorgeous ideas! Sigh, I'm always on the lookout for bedroom ideas. That's so exciting that you're moving, I have lived in the same house my whole life! now I really want to do a room tour post hehe. Hopefully it will give you some ideas.
Wish magazine is DEFINITELY worth it. It was a bit pricey because it has to be shipped and everything, but honestly it is my favourite magazine and I could read it over and over. It was just so well put together and perfect for girls like us!

Ahh I love this post! I love the idea of the cake stand to display beauty products, mine are all crowded in a makeup bag, they deserve to be displayed nicely.
I also love the tutorial for the china jewellery stand! The collaged letters are cool too, I know Typo does kits where you can buy block letters & stickers & knick knacks to decorate them. I'll Instagram a photo of my S for you to see :)
So so gorgeous, you always find the prettiest things. How exciting you get to redo your room in a new place. Decorating is always so fun.

such beautiful ideas! I'm definitely trying out the stack of teacups for storing jewellery! :) How exciting you're moving, I love decorating a new place :) xx
Love all the decor photos! Good luck with the moving! =)
These are all so gorgeous! I absolutely love this post - the idea of a tiered jewelry holder using teacups is so innovative and adorable. I have a rolling clothes rack at home but unfortunately it's too big to fit into my teeny, tiny room. I've been focusing on decorating my room more lately as well. I drew 3 little owls with closed eyes on brown cardboard and have stuck them on my walls. It's a really simple idea but SO cute! It really looks as if they're watching over you ;) x
There's a new post up on my blog right now and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it so feel free to stop by anytime!

love the jewelry inside tea cups, I've done that, and also renovated and altered old jewelry boxes, and big cigar wood cases into them too..
Oh wow! I need to go thrifting for some teacups and saucers...these photos are super inspiring! I really want to make that lovely jewelry stand with the teacups. That would look perfect on my dresser and keep things so much more organized too...thanks for the great photos!

Ooh these are such cute ideas! I currently have three matching clocks above my bed with the time in London, Paris and New York on them, and I'm hoping to paint a city skyline below them.
Great ideas! Congrats on the Links A La Mode feature! :)
