Another reason for going to Paris-- wearing gloves is not impractical in winter! Here in Australia, walking around wearing gloves, even in winter-time would make you look very silly. And I love gloves! Like the classic 2.55 Chanel bag, they can dress up any outfit. They remind me of Audrey Hepburn and the classic 'Hollywood Movie Star' from the 50's. So pretty! Especially those frilly and lacey ones. LOVE!

Well, you wouldn't look silly wearing gloves in Oklahoma in the winter!
It is a shame that year round gloves (hats too) seem to be a relic of the past since they are so much fun to wear. In earlier decades a woman wouldn't be caught dead leaving the house without hat/gloves anytime of the year-- there were summerweight gloves.
I remember playing dress up with my mother's gloves and hats in the 70s. But I never saw her wear them-- the style must've went out in the 60s.
I wish I lived I could go over to Oklahoma! Its looks so pretty in the winter time! My grandma has a lovely pair that I love dressing up with when I go over! :)
