Mum's vintage skirt, Cotton On blouse, handmade flower crown, Target platforms, Revlon lipbutter in 'Red Velvet'

Have you ever ventured to a location so enchanting that you couldn't not take pictures? Lauren and I finished making our beautiful flower crowns (these are her pictures if you'd like a sneakpeak!) and headed down the road from my house to take some pictures in between the lovely reeds and trees. While we were taking pictures, we found a lovely little light-infused pathway. Honestly, it was the most magical scenery I've ever seen and the timing for photos was perfect. The sun was going down so rapidly though, so as well as getting heaps of backlit pictures, we got the sun setting in a few too.
I wore my Mum's vintage skirt from the 90s and my favourite basic blouse with pleats. I love this outfit, it's so simple but pretty.

My week has been excellent so far! Lauren and I stayed up really late last night talking about boys, school and... boys. Then we woke up and had a lavish bacon and egg breakfast followed by fruit and tea. A dance party then followed that and before we knew it we were busting out moves to Daft Punk, One Direction and whatever else was playing on the radio. I'm definitely going to make the most of the next two weeks before I'm back at school with my nose in a textbook. I hope you're having a great week so far. xo
